Feature film adaptation of Abe Yaro's popular comic, which has sold over 4.4 million copies in Japan and abroad and has been turned into a TV drama. Stars Kobayashi Kaoru and other familiar faces from dramas.
A restaurant opens at midnight. Both the menu offerings and personality of the owner (Kobayashi) draw a series of flawed patrons including Tamako (Takaoka Saki), whose boyfriend has passed away, live-in worker Michiru (Tabe Mikako), and ruckus-raising Kenzo (Tsutsui Michitaka).
