Romance with two intersecting timelines: The past, when a high school boy and a chronically ill girl meet and part ways, and the present depicting the guy 14 years later. Director Kamimura Tomoyuki won numerous awards in Japan for his short film Ushiromuki no ao and makes his directorial debut with this work.
Tetsuo (Hayama Shono) gets injured in a fight and ends up in the hospital, where he meets Maiko (Arakawa Chika), a girl who is also being hospitalized. They develop crushes on each other, but Maiko is dealing with a serious illness…
