LITCHI HIKARI CLUB
The film adaptation of Furuya Usamaru's identically titled comic which inspired underground theatre. Naito Eisuke, whose LET'S MAKE THE TEACHER HAVE A MISCARRIAGE CLUB sparked discussion, directs this dark fantasy depicting with peculiar color sense the love-hate interplay of 14-year-old youths who refuse to grow up.
"Hikari Club" is a secret society made up of 9 youths. Upon decree of Zera (Furukawa Yuki), the emperor of the ruins, the intelligent robot Litchi (voice: Sugita Tomokazu) is created in order to fulfill a certain noble goal...
