A woman determined to live a trouble free life meets a confidant at a dubious part-time job and gradually changes in this drama directed by Iwai Shunji, whose All About Lily Chou-Chou among other films have received high praise in Japan and abroad.
Interim teacher, Nanami (Kuroki Haru), marries a man she met through social media, but is thrown out of the house on accusations of adultery by her mother-in-law. Afterward, she is referred to a job by Amuro (Ayano Go) from whom she had requested wedding guest stand-ins. There she meets an unconventional woman, Mashiro (Cocco).
