[ Story ]

Romance by director Iwai Shunji, known for Swallowtail Butterfly and Hana and Alice. Depicts the emotional rebirth and development, as well as the romance, between men and women of different generations, instigated by miscommunications via letters.
Yuri (Matsu Takako)'s older sister Misaki has died, and Masaki's daughter Ayumi (Hirose Suzu) tells her about a school reunion for Misaki and a letter that her mother left for her. Yuri attends the reunion to let people know about Misaki's death but she is mistaken for her older sister and meets her sister's first love Kyoshiro (Fukuyama Masaharu). They begin an unusual correspondence.
