2016 marks the 20th anniversary since the start of the manga's serialization. Takahashi Kazuki, author of the original manga, personally takes overall command of the production in this highly talked about film depicting a story after the end of the original.
After the "Ritual Duel", the final showdown of the Shadow Games, Yugi (voice: Kazama Shunsuke) and friends return to normal life. But a mysterious young boy, Aigami (voice: Hayashi Kento) appears before them. Around the world, strange incidents of people vanishing are occurring one after another. Kaiba Seto (voice: Tsuda Kenjiro) continues to search for the pieces to the Millennium Puzzle. When all the pieces are together, the duels will start once again.
