Director Okuda Shuji, who adapted Edogawa Rampo's original stories "Lost Love Murder" and "Murder on D. Street" for film, creates a new film version of "The Watcher in the Attic," which has already been turned into a movie several times.
Famed detective Akechi Kogoro (Kusano Kota) gets a request from the well-bred Kuroki Naoko (Mamiya Yuki) to find out if her fiance Endo (Fuchikami Yasushi) is cheating on her, and figures out that Endo is having sexual relations with Ouchi Teruko (Kijima Noriko). Meanwhile, Goda (Kawai Ryunosuke), who lives in the same boarding house as Teruko, enjoys sneaking into the attic and snooping on people's private lives.
