[ Story ]

Akutagawa Prize-winning author Yoshida Shuichi's mystery novel is brought to life on the screen by an all-star cast and director, Lee Sang-il, who also tackled another Yoshida work, Villain. An unresolved murder case is the focal point for the drama revolving around three men with unrevealed pasts.
The suspect in a married couple's homicide from a year ago altered his appearance with plastic surgery and has been on the run ever since. Amid this circumstance, a man called Tashiro (Matsuyama Kenichi) appears in a fishing harbor in Chiba, another named Naoto (Ayano Go) shows up in the city heart of Tokyo, while on a deserted island in Okinawa, the existence of a man named Tanaka (Moriyama Mirai) has come to light. The locals in each area suspect these men could be the fugitive.
