Actor Jinnai Takanori directs this ensemble film, his first directorial effort in nine years since Smile. The script is by Kiyasu Kohei, the screenwriter of The Kirishima Thing.
A mortician mediates a gathering unaware it is a yakuza funeral. The relatives are in a row over the details of the will. A woman moonstruck by the favorable terms of her matchmaking interview and a man unfortunate enough to have his infidelity revealed; a son intent on wearing a biker gang coat to a coming-of-age ceremony and the parents desperately trying to stop him; important family occasions are major life events and crossroads each with their own sadness and humor.
