Drama based on Kita Morio's Akutagawa Prize-winning novel by the same name. The story infuses humanity into the relationship between an uncle who constantly spins farfetched tales and his nephew. Directed by Yamashita Nobuhiro of The Drudgery Train and La La La at Rock Bottom.
Elementary-school boy Yukio (Onishi Riku) gets an assignment to write an essay about "The Adults in My Life." Yukio decides that writing about his run-of-the-mill parents would be boring, and he throws himself writing his essay about the quirky loser "uncle" (Matsuda Ryuhei) who freeloads off their family.
