[ Story ]

A film continuing the story of the protagonist twins of Nobel Prize winning author, Kawabata Yasunari's novel. It is written and directed by Yuki Saito, who has won high acclaim both domestically and abroad as a commercial director. Actress Matsuyuki Yasuko plays both twins.
Separated as children, twins Chieko (Matsuyuki), who runs a long-established kimono fabrics store, and Naeko (Matsuyuki), have grown up and become mothers themselves. Mai (Hashimoto Ai), Chieko's daughter, visits Paris for an event promoting Japanese culture and runs in to Yui (Narumi Riko), Naeko's daughter.
