Second feature film from cutting-edge director Yamamoto Akira, whose Tokyo University of the Arts graduation work Speak Low earned acclaim overseas. World premiere screening in the New Currents competition at the 28th Busan International Film Festival.
Sanae (Hashimoto Ai) spent several years in prison for attempting to murder her boyfriend, and upon release she meets Kenta (Nakano Taiga), a forestry worker. They accept each other for who they are and tie the knot, but their tranquil marriage goes haywire when a mysterious woman named Adachi shows up in their neighborhood.
