[ Story ]

A drama depicting, along with the traditional art of rakugo (comical stories) and kagura (Shinto music and dance), the love and squabbles of a rakugo storyteller unable to face life and his girlfriend who clings to the past. Photographer Iki Norihito, who has amassed numerous awards both in Japan and abroad, makes his film directing debut.
Minor rakugo storyteller, Mitsugoro (Tomobe Yasushi), lives a hedonistic life escaping to alcohol and women. His girlfriend, Maumi (Murakami Maki) has unflinchingly supported him, but is deeply hurt by his thoughtless words and leaves him. Mitsugoro goes to Maumi's hometown where he learns of the past she has been keeping a secret.
