Director Kikuchi Takeo, whose feature-length debut film DEAR DEER officially screened at the 39th Montreal World Film Festival, conscientiously depicts the wavering of delicate, pubescent hear ts in this story of two high school girls' maturation.
Hazuki (Hagiwara Minori) and Aoi (Kubota Sayu) are two troubled high school girls who have never really interacted despite being classmates. However, an encounter with "grandma" (Motai Masako) leads to altercations and mutual acceptance on the way to maturity.
