Documentary shot in 4K resolution that follows the creation of a Japanese sword from start to finish. Japanese swords are mesmerizing works of art, and this documentary shows the master sword maker, sword polisher, and sword mount craftsman as they bring the sword to completion and explores original role of swords as weaponry.
In February of 2016, a sword is created in Katsushika, Tokyo. The sword is named "onko soshin," and was created over a two-year period with the involvement of many different craftspeople.
