[ Story ]
This historical period comedy alternates live action with animation to depict a trainee monk who is unexplainably irresistible to women and his travels plagued by troubles with the opposite sex. Direction and script by Niwatsukino Norihiro, who directed the short film Strawberry Jam. Screened at numerous film festivals within Japan and abroad including the Vancouver International Film Festival.
Trainee monk Ninko (Tsujioka Masato) is devoted to his practice but keeps getting hit on by women. He embarks on a journey of introspection but continually runs into trouble with the ladies. In one village, he teams up with samurai Kanzo to exorcise a mountain goddess who devours male energy.
