[ Story ]
Director Oshima Nagisa was considered as a leader of Japanese New Wave, he directed Cruel Tales of Youth and The Sun's Burial. In this film a young man, disillusioned in love, is blackmailed into keeping a very large sum of money for a man who goes to prison for stealing it. So he decides to spend it all before the man comes out of prison, mainly in buying women to help him forget the unfaithful one. Having spent the money and about to go to jail himself, he learns that – ironically - the man whose money he has used has died in prison.
