[ Story ]
The main streets of Tokyo are crowded with zigzagging leftist demonstrators shouting "Resistance to Rearmament," "Down with the Government" etc.
One night, four young men, total strangers to each other, and living an insecure adolescence, like the prevailing social unrest, become acquainted in a dim lit midnight coffee shop where they decide to go the seacoast in search of pearls.
Fukumoto, Yoshimura, Osawa and Yamanaka are delighted with the women pearl-divers, and especially attracted by the beautiful and enticing Kazuyo.
Fukumoto is selected to make a conquest of Kazuyo, and finally she surrenders to his advances.
The next day the other three young men demand that each enjoy Kazuyo's charms in turn.
But Fukumoto who has fallen in love with Kazuyo refuses. When the three are about to lynch Fukumoto, Kazuyo saves him at the cost of her life.
