[ Story ]
Shinji Taki saves Joji Matsumoto, a young businessman, from a group of gangsters who tried to rob him a document which is part of a map Nanjo, an archaeologist, asked him to deliver on his next trip to Thailand.
Shinji takes a keen interest in the case, in connection with a silver pendant he wrenched from one of the gangsters. It is identical with the one he is wearing on his own neck which his brother wore when he was killed on the Burma-Thailand border in 1944.
Discovering that one of the gangsters left for Hong Kong the following morning, Shinji decides to go there where he hopes to gain some information about his brother. Joji asks him to deliver the document to Nanjo.
Shinji is met at the Hong Kong airport by Noriko, younger sister of Joji and Nanjo's fiancee. Here they meet Lee Shatak who informs them that the party Shinji is looking for has left for Bangkok. That night, Noriko is attacked in her hotel room by a gangster who turns out to be Gerald, who attacked Joji in Yokohama.
Upon arriving in Bangkok, Shinji goes to Lee's cabaret which is invaded by a band who rob the guests of their money and jewels. Among them, Shinji spots Gerald. Lee tells him that they are led by gunman, known as the Tiger of Laos.
The Tiger of Laos is ordered by his boss to steal the ownership documents of the Zirconium mine owned by Rocha of Ayuthia who took Shinji into his home after the end of the war.
Shinji visits Rocha who welcomes him with a feast and entertainment by the Royal Thai Dancing Team. The chief dancer is Thaya, the sweetheart of Laos. During the banquet, Laos steals the papers of the Zirconium mine with the aid of Charonk, Rocha's nephew.
Shinji decides to go to Ayuthia, the town on the outskirts of the mine.
When Shinji and Noriko arrive they are attacked by Gerald and his men, but, strangely enough Laos comes to their rescue.
"The Boss" turns out to be Lee Shatak who has kidnapped Nanjo and finds the treasure in a passage of the mine. When Shinji orders Lee to surrender to the police, he orders Laos to shoot Shinji. Laos fires, but it is Lee who falls.
Laos refuses to admit he is Shinji's brother. He says, "Your brother is dead. I want to live here in Thailand with Thaya, the girl I love."
