[ Story ]

Shinohara Tetsuo directs some of Japan's finest actresses in this much-talked-about film.
It's been four years since Aesthetic writer Shigematsu Tokiko (Asaoka Ruriko) died from a mysterious drug. Every year, as the anniversary of her death draws near, five women gather in the mansion where she died to mourn her loss. This year's gathering began on a disturbing note with the arrival of a mysterious bouquet bearing the message: "I send flowers for the deceased of this place so that you will not forget your sins." As a result, the five women, all of whom are writers, start a new investigation into Tokiko's death, originally ruled a suicide because of a note left behind. As the reasons to why Tokiko stopped being able to write and was swept up in wild delusions are uncovered, along with secrets each woman knew about their friend, the investigation takes turn after turn, before Eriko (Suzuki Kyoka) produces a surprising conclusion. Stunned by the truth, the women decide that each will write something about Tokiko, and leave the mansion behind.
