[ Story ]
Untamagiru and Tsuru-Henry director Takamine Go helms his first feature film in eighteen years. Avant-garde maestro Sakata Akira's group ARASHI contributes music to the project.
Tarugani (Taira Susumu) and Papajo (Kitamura Saburo) live in Patai Village, where they run a business giving suicidal folks a fresh start. They are forced to flee the village after being accused of stealing an illegal aphrodisiac. The story of their escape takes on mythological proportions in island lore.
