Work from Anime Tamago 2017, which emerged from the Young Animator Training Project initiated by the Agency for Cultural Affairs in 2010. Produced by Studio Comet of the "Jewelpet" TV anime series.
Charanpo Land is an island at the farthest reaches of the southern seas. A gigantic Baobabu tree growing in the center of the island gives birth to numerous eggs each day. The islanders have developed a "charanporan" lifestyle of frivolity and irresponsibility after becoming dependent on these eggs for their food, clothing and other basic necessities.
