Sequel to the TV anime series that enjoys enduring popularity worldwide. This fifth feature film in the six-part "Digimon Adventure tri." series picks up six years after the first TV series and three years after the second TV series.
Meicoomon is on another rampage and returns to the Real World after seeing her partner Meiko (voice: Arakawa Miho) get hurt by a mysterious guy. Bizarre occurrences unfold throughout the Real World, where Meicoomon's appearance has triggered a countdown to destruction. Taichi (voice: Hanae Natsuki) and friends are being pursued by people, since they are in the company of their partner Digimons.
