First film in the "Space Squad" series about superheroes teaming up together. Director and action director Sakamoto Koichi has helmed many super hero films.
Space sheriff Gavan, protector of the peace on earth and outer space, and the special investigation squadron Dekarangers team up to form the hero team "Space Squad." They confront a terrifying conspiracy by the proliferating space criminal organization-cum-cult Genmakuukai, but it turns out to be an enemy trap that exceeds their worst nightmares.
