Based on Iwai Shunji's similarly titled film, this animated film depicts one summer day relived over and over again. Love Strikes! and Bakuman。 screenwriter One Hitoshi wrote the script. The chief director is Shimbou Akiyuki of the "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" series.
Just before a fireworks show, Norimichi (voice: Suda Masaki) finds out the girl he is in love with, Nazuna (voice: Hirose Suzu), will be changing schools because of her mother's (voice: Matsu Takako) remarriage. At Nazuna's request, he and Nazuna attempt to flee from town, but are brought back by Nazuna's mother. A disappointed Norimichi then realizes at some point time has been resetting.
