[ Story ]

Animation that marks the directorial debut for Okada Mari, the scriptwriter of works including The Anthem of the Heart. Depicts the "eternal moment" of a boy and girl who meet amidst the passage of time.
Maquia (voicr: Iwami Manaka) is a girl from the Iolph Clan, who stop aging in their mid-teens and live for several hundred years, and she loses her friends and home when the Mezarte army invades in search of the secret to longevity. Lost and brokenhearted, Maquia meets Ariel (voice: Irino Miyu), whose mother has just been killed.
