Sequel to CHIHAYAFURU Part 1 and CHIHAYAFURU Part 2, live-action adaptations of the popular girls' comic. A group of high school students compete in their final karuta card game tournament.
Two years have gone by since the Mizusawa Karuta Club founded by Chihaya (Hirose Suzu) reached the national championships in its first year. Chihaya's childhood friend Arata (Arata Mackenyu) had stopped playing karuta, but he resolves to create a karuta club in his own high school and face off with Chihaya and her team. Meanwhile, Mizusawa's club leader Taichi (Nomura Shuhei), who was childhood friends with both Chihaya and Arata, quits the team just before their final high school tournament.
