[ Story ]
Documentary about kids growing up as they attend the Korean school in Edakawa in Tokyo's Koto district. Footage covering first-graders in 2010 through graduation was edited as a work-in-progress and given a special screening at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival in 2017.
The Tokyo Korean Primary School 2 was founded in Edakawa after World War Two, and reconstruction of the aging school building got underway in 2010. The camera captures the children who love the school right down to the walls of the old building and the scuffed-up hallways.
