[ Story ]
A documentary that focuses on the work of Nagaoka Masamitsu, who has been involved in the production of supplements for popular educational publication "Otona no Kagaku Magazine" (adults and science magazine), a grown-up version of "Kagaku to Gakushu" (science and learning). He takes on the task of making a tiny version of a massive work of art with his amazing ability to draw twenty lines within a width of one millimeter.
"Strandbeest" is the creation of Dutch artist Theo Jansen. Nagaoka Masamitsu, a master of creating supplemental model kits for magazines, works with Chinese and Taiwanese craftsmen to perfect a miniaturized version of Jansen's work of art through a repetitive process of trial and error.
