A documentary that closely follows Diet member Suzuki Muneo and has been described as the second in a series on Japanese politics by director Kaneko Yu, who profiled a neo-rightist organization in Belgrade 1999. It presents a detailed behind-the-scenes account of the 2009 House of Representatives election, during which Suzuki was forced into a difficult position due to a corruption scandal.
As allegations of corruption swirl around him, Suzuki Muneo launches New Party Daichi. However, on the verge of the election, he is declared to be guilty by the Tokyo District Court. Suzuki, who will have no choice but to serve time in prison if the Supreme Court rejects his final appeal, engages in a high-stakes election battle.
