A theatrical entry in the science fiction anime "Macross" series that reworks the story of the 2016 "Macross Delta" TV series into a fresh rendition. It depicts the battles fought by a tactical music unit against a mysterious epidemic threatening the Milky Way galaxy.
The year is 2067 A.D. A tactical music unit called "Walkure" travels among the planets holding live concerts in order to calm the effects of a mysterious infection called the Var Syndrome that is driving humanity into a berserk rage. But the Aerial Knights of the Windermere Kingdom in their variable fighter craft make their own moves.
