[ Story ]
Japan-France co-production directed by Kawase Naomi, a filmmaker heralded at the Cannes International Film Festival. Co-stars Nagase Masatoshi of Paterson alongside Juliette Binoche of Certified Copy.
Travel writer Jeanne (Binoche) visits the mystical forest in Yoshino, Nara with her assistant-cum-translator Hana (Minami). While searching for a medicinal plant known as "vision", Jeanne stays at the home of mountain guardian Satoshi (Nagase). The two become close as they overcome language and cultural barriers.
