[ Story ]
Kawase Naomi, director of Suzaku, not only writes and directs this drama, but also serves as cinematographer and music composer. It was screened at film festivals abroad including the competition section of the 53rd Locarno International Film Festival.
In a corner of the old capital of Nara where an air of the past still lingers, Ayako (Nakamura Yuko) is a solitary woman unable to evade her past who works as a stripper. She meets a potter, Daiji (Nagasawa Toshiya), who, like Ayako, has lost a loved one. Both live in agony and seek an unseen bond with one another. But Ayako overcomes her past and begins to discover her own life.
