Japan's picturesque scenery season after season is turned into a film with overwhelming impact. Filmmakers who adore Japan pursue a once-in-a-lifetime beauty, photographing more than 200 locations over the course of the eight year production. The film is divided into three chapters. "The Japanese Spirit" unwraps the spirituality and outlook on nature of the Japanese people. "Japan's Four Seasons" revolves around the changes of the season. "A Once-In-A-Lifetime Journey" chronicles miraculous moments which may or not be encountered once every several years. Nakano Hiroyuki of Tajomaru directs, music is by ambient artist Okano Hiroki, while the journey's narration is performed by Koizumi Kyoko and Higashide Masahiro.
