[ Story ]
One Hitoshi of Love Strikes! and BAKUMAN remakes the 2011 Korean film Sunny with the setting in Japan. Depicts the friendships of high school girls in the late 90s who were known as "kogals," interspersed with J-POP tunes from the era. Nami (Shinohara Ryoko) is a 40-year-old homemaker who has a chance encounter with her high school friend Serika (Itaya Yuka). However, Serika has terminal cancer and tells Nami that she wants to reunite with the members SUNNY, their tight-knit circle of friends.
