A new theatrical film continuing on from the six-episode OVA series "FLCL" released back in 2000 which captured the attention of anime fans around the world. Six creators serve as co-directors of the film.
Headphone clad Hidomi (voice: Minase Inori) leads a frivolous life. The night she is run over by a car, a giant robot springs out of the forehead of her classmate. Furthermore, Hidomi meets Haruko's split personalities Raharu (voice: Hayashibara Megumi) and Jinyu (voice: Sawashiro Miyuki), marking the end of her unremarkable life.
