[ Story ]
Second installation in the two-part anime feature film adaptation of manga author Yamato Waki's hit series "Haikarasan go toru." Directed by Kidokoro Toshiaki, who served as assistant director on Fireworks.
Hanamura Benio (voice: Hayami Saori) shares a mutual attraction with second lieutenant Ijuin Shinobu (voice: Miyano Mamoru). However, she loses contact with him when he goes to the warfront. Benio doesn't give up hope that Ijuin is still alive, but then she meets Sasha, an exiled Russian aristocrat who looks exactly like Ijuin. Benio is shocked by Sasha, who is the spitting image of the lieutenant but doesn't know who she is.
