Live-action adaptation of Komi Naoshi's romantic comedy manga, the longest running series in the history of Weekly Shonen Jump.
Conflict-adverse and righteous Raku (Nakajima Kento) is the only son of a yakuza gang member. Transfer student Chitoge (Nakajo Ayami) is always up for a fight, but in reality she's the maidenly daughter of a gang member. They share unusual backgrounds but have opposite personalities, and they each hope to have ordinary high school lives. However, their parents ask for their help to stop a fight between their gangs, and they have no choice but to pretend to be a couple.
