Best-selling author Harada Maha's about a married couple is adapted to film by director Kawai Hayato, who has worked as an assistant director on films by Somai Shinji, and Kuroki Kazuo, in addition to producing a numerous hit titles.
Rinko (Nakatani Miki), the leader of a minority opposition party which has caught the attention of the political world, becomes Japan's first female prime minister. Her husband Hiyori (Tanaka Kei), ornithologist, is thrown into confusion by the sudden and rapid turn of events. Fujinomiya (Kanjiya Shihori), the Cabinet public relations officer, thoroughly has control of his life, and as the "husband of the prime minister" finds himself caught up in an unexpectedly turbulent daily life.
