Cold Fish and Himizu director Sono Sion was involved with the original concept for this ninja action film. Sakaguchi Tak who worked as the action director on Tokyo Tribe among others serves as the line producer and in the director's chair is Ishihara Takahiro of Control of Violence.
One day two ninja appear before bullied high school girl Mako (Ogura Yuka). The three travel back in time where legendary ninja Saizo (TAK∴) is awaiting them. Under his instruction, Mako begins learning the art of ninjutsu.
