Feature film adaptation of Akatsuki Natsume's light novel series, which has sold 8.5 million copies in total and has been adapted as a TV anime show. TV series director Kanasaki Takaomi returns to helm the film.
Kazuma (voice: Fukushima Jun) was supposed to die in a traffic accident but randomly gets reborn in a different world. He is thrilled by the RPG-like adventures but keeps getting caught up in the mishaps of the troublemakers he meets during his travels. Meanwhile, he embarks on a journey to save his friends' hometown after hearing that it is in danger of destruction.
