[ Story ]
The acting family, the Emotos, are the subject of this documentary following Emoto Akira and his sons. Prominent cameraman Yamazaki Yutaka, who has been involved with shooting Kore-eda Hirokazu's films, surveils a rehearsal hall and documents the hours a father hands down his skills to his sons with strictness and warmth.
While working as well liked actors, siblings Emoto Tasuku and Tokio have also formed the theatre unit "ETx2". In 2014, they performed Samuel Beckett's masterpiece absurdist play 'Waiting for Godot'. In 2017, they once again took on Godot, and invited their father Emoto Akira to direct.
