Yukawa Kazuhiko, the screenwriter of numerous popular television dramas, makes the month of March the focus of this love story about the 30 years in the life of a man and woman bound by fate.
March 1st, 1986. Yayoi (Haru) and Taro (Narita Ryo) meet one another as if predestined. Though mutually attracted to one another, the death of their friend Sakura (Sugisaki Hana) due to illness prevents them from expressing their feelings and the two go their separate ways. However, just when both have lost sight of hope as they struggle through life, they receive a message from Sakura 30 years later.
