A young man, though born as a female, who has constantly felt uncomfortable with his gender is the subject of this documentary which captures over a nine year period his transformation and maturing. In the director's chair is Tokoi Miyuki, who has produced news reports presented through the perspective of socially disadvantaged people.
Sky becomes a member of society feeling a mismatched discrepancy between his heart and body. He comes to a decision after coming into contact with the world's oldest recipient of sex conversion, 95-year-old cellist Yashiro Miyuki, and Nakajima Jun among others who live as "X-Genders" (neither male or female) in response to discomfort with binary sexual identity.
