Based on the novel by Shigematsu Kiyoshi, who has continued to deal with the subject of family restoration, this drama depicts the ten years over a widowers life as he struggles to raise his young daughter. Iizuka Ken, who works in both film and television, serves as writer, director, and editor.
It has been a year since Kenichi (Yamada Takayuki) lost his wife. He has moved to a section of his company where reduced work hours are possible so that he can raise his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter while continuing to work. Nevertheless, he becomes worn out by the unforeseen circumstances which bombard him. Seeing his ordeal, Kenichi's in-laws propose taking custody of his daughter, but he determines to raise her as a single parent.
