This drama portrays twenty-three years in the life of a husband and wife who lost their only daughter in the Great Hanshin Earthquake. Director Imaoka Shinji depicts, among the streets of Kobe, the restoration of the couple's relationship after the death of their daughter causes the deterioration of their relationship and subsequent divorce.
Ichiko (Takeda Aki) and Tasuke (Kawaya Hidetoshi) lose their daughter Reiko during the Great Hanshin Earthquake of 1995. After divorcing, they go on to live separate lives, but gradually come to accept their daughter's death. They meet again in 2018 and end up watching a dolphin show which holds fond memories for them.
