[ Story ]

Love story about the encounter and relationship between a transgender woman and solitary girl. Director Uchida Eiji's Lowlife Love was selected for the 28th Tokyo International Film Festival Japanese Cinema Splash program.
Nagisa (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi) is a transgender woman who works at a nightclub in Shinjuku, and one day she is put in charge of Ichika (Hattori Misaki), the daughter of a relative from her hometown in Hiroshima. Nagisa finds her maternal instincts awakened through living with Ichika, who is said to have been abused by her mother.
