The everyday highs and lows of friends enamored with the idol group Hello! Project is entertainingly told in this revival-of-youth film. Imaizumi Rikiya of Just Only Love directs from a script by Tominaga Masanori of Pumpkin and Mayonnaise.
Tsurugi (Matsuzaka Tori) spends his days getting nowhere. When a friend recommends to him the DVD of idol Matsuura Aya, he is transfixed. He takes part in a fan-sponsored event where he meets each of the idiosyncratic members of "Hello Pro Abeno-branch" who speak about the charms of Hello! Project as well as who their favorite members are.
