[ Story ]
In 1972 toward the final stages of the Vietnam War, a protest movement arose against the U.S. military's repair of tanks at the Sagami General Supply Depot in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture and their transport to the Yokohama north docks. This documentary tracks down not only participants in the protests, but involved parties and experts including those who cleared the protestors. Through the testimony of 54 people the full story of the solidarity and disorder brought about by this political struggle is revealed. This is the debut theatrical film of director Tsuji Toyofumi who has worked as a director of socially conscious television documentaries.
