Nohara Tadashi, who co-wrote the scripts for Kurosawa Kiyoshi's Wife of a Spy and Hamaguchi Ryusuke's Happy Hour, makes his theatrical directorial debut.
Haru (Kawamura Rira) feels lonely in her life with her partner and desires a child to the point she even proposes adoption. Eventually, Haru leaves home when her partner breaks up with her. She meets a young man (Kawamura Tomo) who has lost his memory. Naming him Naruto, she decides to take him in and raise him by herself despite objections from her mother and younger brother Takeshi (Kobayashi Katsuyuki).
